Handmade Kitchen for Edwardian Period House

This kitchen was designed and made for a glazed extension in a totally refurbished house in Haslemere – featuring rounded columns and two designer paint colours with solid pewter handles. The island unit was to provide a good working area with a breakfast bar offering informal seating around a curve. This was a framed kitchen with butt hinges associated with a more traditional design, however with flush plinths and shakers style doors it bridged the gap between contemporary and traditional and sits perfectly in this period house.

We originally found Ian on the web. A “stab in the dark”. What impressed us initially was he appeared interested in what we wanted to do and, most importantly, he responded quickly and efficiently to our quotation queries. This enthusiasm and efficiency was carried through to the job itself. He proved reliable, punctual, responsive to our queries and sympathetic to our requests. Also, his obvious skill, eye for detail, perfectionism and desire to complete a job ensured we got what we wanted.
